We are looking for volunteers that could dedicate their time to help in the SSS Marketing Department. If you are Social Media savvy, we could use your expertise.
Do you have talents or services that could help Setting Scoliosis Straight research department?
The Office Assistant will perform a variety of tasks depending on project deadlines in the office. This will include answering phones and other administrative tasks as assigned by the Executive Research Director and Development Manager. This position helps to extend the resources in the Setting Scoliosis Straight Foundation to better assist and direct the needs of our patient-family community. This is a fun role with great flexibility!
- Key Duties:
Administrative Department: Answering phones, photocopying, scanning, filing, and other office maintenance duties.
Marketing Department: Create social media posts to drive traffic to the SSSF website or provide any marketing services that you may have.
Research Department: Data entry, organizing files, and assist with research projects.

- Expectations: Respect and maintain confidentiality of SSSF, volunteers, staff, and donors. Strong writing skills for writing newsletters, articles, and marketing materials.
We’re looking for passionate people to ensure the success of Ahead of the Curve and Power Over Scoliosis, our largest fundraising event and patient education course of the year! This event is imperative to sustaining important and ongoing clinical research studies which seek to improve treatment for children with spinal deformities.
Under the leadership and guidance of the event Chair (or co-chairs), committee members will work together to ensure fundraising and planning objectives are met. This talented group of volunteers is responsible for soliciting donations and silent auction items for our Ahead of the Curve Gala, and securing in-kind event services. If you like a good challenge, working with like-hearted people, and are passionate about making a HUGE impact for pediatric research, we welcome you to the team!
We are also looking for volunteers who can help us create promotional materials and help us spread the word on all social media platforms.
