Where were you born: I was born in Norman, Oklahoma, home of the Sooners! But moved to NYC at an early age.
Why did you go into medicine: I went into medicine because of all the amazing examples in my life –my great grandfather, grandfather, fathers were all physicians, and my mother and about 6 aunts had advanced nursing degrees. They showed me how helping others can be the most satisfying job you can ever have. You can literally say it was in my blood!!
Hobbies: Outside of work I enjoy exercise (I am on the Peloton 4-5 days/ week), woodworking, skiing, and I read something non-medical every night before going to bed.
