Savanna Brooks joined the SSS Patient Volunteer Committee in 2026, and we are incredibly excited to welcome her to the team. As a college marketing major, Savanna brings creativity, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn while gaining valuable hands‑on experience in a mission‑driven environment. Her enthusiasm for supporting patients and strengthening awareness makes her a wonderful addition to our volunteer community.
Savanna’s scoliosis journey began at age fifteen, when she was diagnosed with an S‑shaped curve that required bracing throughout high school. Although the experience was challenging, she stayed committed to her treatment and protected her curve from progressing to surgery. Today, she uses her perspective to uplift others who may be feeling overwhelmed or alone in their diagnosis.
We are grateful to have Savanna on our team and look forward to watching her grow, contribute, and gain meaningful experience as she helps us expand scoliosis awareness and support patients and families.
