2023 Scoliosis Awareness T-Shirt contest is now open

The winners of this contest will have their design featured on the Setting Scoliosis Straight Foundation (SSSF) T-Shirts store, be recognized in the SSSF newsletter and social media, and will receive a free t-shirt with their design on it along with a classic SSSF T-shirt!

Design Guidelines

• The design must be scoliosis related
• The design must be for the front of the shirt only
• The design can have multiple colors
• Designs with inspirational quotes are welcome
• DIGITAL DESIGNS: Must be in high resolution and be submitted as a .jpg, .png, .pdf, .ai, or .psd file

Eligibility/Entry

There is no entry fee to submit a design. Only one design submission per contestant. If you are under the age of 18, you may create a design but it must be submitted on your behalf by a parent or guardian.

Important Dates

• Submit your design (1 per contestant) May 1-31, 2023
• LAST DAY to submit a design – no exceptions May 31, 2023
• Public Voting (on Social Media & settingscoliosisstraight.org) June 1-27, 2023
• 3 Winners will be announced during our Patients 2 Patients Webinar June 28, 2023
  

Designs will be judged on the following criteria:

• Originality
• Visibility – Is it eye-catching and visible from a distance
• Does it coincide with the mission of the SSSF
• Feasibility – Must be easy to reproduce

Fine Print

By submitting an entry, the artist represents and warrants that:  1.  They are the sole owner of the submitted design, or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and releases to use and submit the design for the purposes of the contest, including any third-party elements that are included in the design; 2.  The design does not infringe upon or violate any intellectual property rights or other rights of any third parties, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, trade secret, or patent rights, and does not contain any defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful material;  3.  The design is original and has not been previously published or submitted to any other contest or competition; 4.   The artist shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Setting Scoliosis Straight Foundation, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all suits, actions, claims, damages, liabilities, judgments, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with any breach of these warranties, or any other provision of the contest rules, or any third party claim of infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property or other rights the Setting Scoliosis Straight’s use, distribution, publishing, sale or exploitation of the winning design. SSSF’s t-shirt contest team reserves the right to make adjustments and alterations to the winning entry. The winning artist grants to the Setting Scoliosis Straight Foundation the exclusive right to use the design, including any modifications thereof, for promotional, marketing, and other SSSF purposes. No submissions will be returned.

How to Sign Up and Submit Your Design

Please sign up by clicking on the Sign Up button below and include your first and last name, email address, phone number, and a description of your inspiration. You can send your design to info@ssshsg.org anytime from May 1-31, 2023. Make sure your files are named appropriately – please include your name in the file names.
