Surgeon Spotlight

Surgeon Spotlight: Nick Fletcher, MD

Most important things in my life are my wife and kids. They ground me and keep me happy and sane. I grew up in Rhode Island and still find Hazards beach my place of peace and relaxation. Moved south to Vanderbilt for college, med school, and residency and met my wife Jena there. We have stayed in the south and have the joys of two wonderful teenage kids, Ella and Henry, who keep us young. I am a diehard skier with no access to snow, a lacrosse goalie who occasionally still risks my hands for a taste of the old glory days, and an avid but mediocre tennis player. I am blessed with the greatest job in the world because I care for kids with hard problems and get to bring them safely back to their parents after surgery. And I have a podcast, which is fun!
