My name is Brindee Heaton. I’m 16 years old and the youngest of 4 kids (the only girl). I was diagnosed with scoliosis in the fall of 2018. I am a competitive dancer, and the current Miss Teen Utah International 2020. With a lot of hard work, dedication, and determination I was able to improve my curves with the Schroth method of physical therapy, heal a stress fracture, and continue to do what I love…dance!
It was a journey that inspired me to start a program called “The Curve in the Road” where I use what I learned through this trial to help other teens overcome the roadblocks and curves life throws them.
