Peter is a surgeon member of the Harms Study Group and serves on the HSG Executive Committee. He joined the Harms Study Group in 1998 and is an active participant in four prospective research studies. He is currently Chief of the Division of Orthopedics & Scoliosis as well as Surgeon-in-Chief at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego and a clinical professor at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic training at the University of California, San Diego, with fellowship training at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. He is currently serving as the President of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America. He resides in San Diego, CA and joined the board in 2008.
